Local recommendations

Despite its small size, Mykonos can satisfy all tastes and has a lot to see on and around. For history lovers, Delos island is a must-see, as it is an open-air museum. Guests can go there by boat from the Old Port or by sailing. Also, the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos exhibits valuable findings of Renia, the island next to Delos, as well as ancient Mykonos. You can also visit the small but beautiful Aegean Maritime Museum and the Mykonos Folklore Museum. For sightseeing and walking around, Panagia Paraportiani Church is one of the most famous architectural structures in Greece. Positioned near the main harbor entrance, this church is the central feature of the castle area, the oldest section of town. The Windmills, from as early as the 16th century, are one of the most recognized landmarks of Mykonos. Armenistis Lighthouse, which was built in 1891, is situated on the north-western tip of Mykonos, overlooking the strait that separates the island of Tinos from Mykonos. Due to its high elevation, you can enjoy from here the most amazing sunsets of Mykonos. A walk in Mykonos Town, with the beautiful maze-like streets and the lovely Alefkandra of Mykonos also known as Little Venice, the Mykonos Town neighborhood that is home to many artists and one of the most photographed places in Europe, shouldn’t be missed. In Ano Mera, the Monastery of Panagia Tourlianis and the Castle and in Platis Gialos, the Well of Giannaros and the three Hellenistic Towers, are worth a visit. You can ask us for information on excursions and tours. Some of the activities provided in Mykonos are horse riding, scuba diving, snorkeling, wind surfing, kayaking, biking, sailing, trips on private boats, tennis and so many more. The scenic town of Mykonos lies within 3 km and Mykonos Airport is at a distance of 6 km. The nearest bus station lies within 800 m from the property.

Located near the old port, this location was exactly what we were looking for. a place on the outskirts but not too far away. Isolated but not boring. Sofia was kind enough to offer us the executive suite as we were meant to bring our newborn baby along. the suite is modern, stylish, and well maintained with a terrace over looking the port right under the stars. you literally feel like you can touch the sky. It's important to note though that the road leading up to the hotel is quite tricky to maneuver especially if you're not used to such narrow, steep and uphill village roads. the host Sofia is great, she was very helpful and friendly :) definitely value for your money, considering what a rip off most of the places in Mykonos are.

Booked this wonderful place months ahead of going, wanting the typical Mykonos experience. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived Anna was at the airport waiting to transport us to our villa ( which she kindly upgraded!) and her explaination of the whole island, where to eat and go to beaches was so attentive and kind. The property itself is perched high on the hill and the view is breathtaking. Even the taxi drivers would stop for a moment and comment on what a beautiful view we had. Anna's whole approach is about relaxation and that we did in abundance. The peaceful nature of the property and light that bounces from the white buildings and twinkling sea is truely holistic. If you are thinking of going to Mykonos book this place. Your soul will love you for it.
