Glaros villa is located on a small peninsula of western Crete in Agioi Apostoloi beach, with successive little coves and shallow waters that make them ideal for children. The beach of Glaros is family friendly and well organized with sun beds, umbrellas, a lifeguard and canteens. The surrounding area of Agia Marina is very lively with a good mixture of taverns, bars and a handful of late clubs, but if you are a sportive person, a park with trees next to the villa has plenty of lanes where you can go jogging. The picturesque city of Chania is only 4 km away and is all about new foods, old sights and surprising experiences to make for a nice break from reality in Crete. Kids will love a whole day at Limnoupolis Water Park. The south coast (Libyan coast) is rich in dramatic scenes of the canyons (Samaria) and villages where native people are dressed in a kind of traditional costumes (Chora Sfakion).
