Galateia Villa is located in Falassarna, 60 km west of Chania and 17 km west of Kissamos, in the western part of the Gramvousa Peninsula. It is considered to be one of the top beaches of the Mediterranean with turquoise waters, fine pink sand and sand dunes that extends 3 km long. On the northern part of the beach the ruins of the ancient Greco-Roman city of Falassarna are impressive, especially the part of the city that seems to be immersed in the sea. The area around Falasarna is enchanting and it is part of Natura Protected Areas, while the traditional food served at the taverns of the village is guaranteed. The sunset in Falassarna is considered one of the most impressive in Crete.
